In 2008, HLL’s Healthcare Services Division opened its first venture of Hindlabs (with path lab, X-Ray and ultrasound facilities) at R.K.Puram in New Delhi primarily for Central Government Health Scheme (CGHS) beneficiaries. Hindlabs in partnership with Employees State Insurance Corporation (ESIC) is providing centre management services for the management and operations of CT and MRI centres at ESIC model hospitals at Andheri East in Mumbai and Rajaji Nagar in Bengaluru in Karnataka. In Kerala, Hindlabs has three MRI Scan centres functioning inside the campuses of Medical College Hospitals in Thrissur, Alappuzha and Kottayam. All the centres are connected through World Class Teleradiology facility for correct, fast and expert diagnosis report generation.

By establishing Hindlabs MRI Scan Centers, HLL was initiating a much needed market intervention to the disorganised Radio Diagnosis sector in Kerala. Hindlab’s market entry has forced the market to follow Hindlab’s price as a standard which eventually brought down the cost for MRI scan service in Kerala.

As part of widening the activities, Healthcare Services Division has started two separate Hindlabs in Mumbai in 2013. One is Hindlabs Pathology Lab in Worli which is a referral centre with 22 collection centres across Mumbai. Other one is Hindlabs high-end imaging centre in Koliwada with latest Ultrasound, X-Ray and ECG facilities. HLL plans to establish 'Hindlabs MRI Scan Centres' in Odisha and Bengaluru in Karnataka.  In partnership with Government of Odisha, HLL will soon open the centres at Medical College Hospitals at Burla and Berhampur. The Hindlabs centre is equipped with 1.5 Tesla MRI Scan machine.
